Walter Richard Sanders and Judith Anne Winkler were sealed in the Logan Temple on November 23, 1966 after a lengthy courtship of 41 days! In their 50 years of marriage, Dick and Judy have parented 6 children, 7 children-in-law, 33 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

They have lived in 4 different states, held numerous callings within the church, and served as temple missionaries in the Palmyra Temple. Their life together has been full of love, faith, hard work and service.

Dick and Judy have fostered a strong family culture founded on the gospel of Jesus Christ and love, amidst lots of storytelling, laughter and long drives. They embody sunshine and live life full of humor.

As their oldest granddaughter, I am grateful for the choices they have made that have placed me in a situation where I am surrounded by a loving, strong family and am able to have a strong marriage, based on the principles exhibited by my grandparents. This is the greatest gift and blessing I could ask for, and am grateful that I can be a small part in passing along their values to future generations.
