Fifty years ago Judith Anne Winkler entered the waters of baptism and emerged a Child of Christ, having taken upon her His name and covenanting that she was willing to always remember him, keep his commandments and take upon her the sorrows and burdens of others. She has lived her life in accord with those promises. Her decision was made difficult, since her parents and her beloved Uncle John (a minister in the Presbyterian Church who paid for her college education) did all they could to discourage her from that choice.

Here are some of the many callings she has had over the years. She has blessed the lives of many with her dedicated service.
